J Street Marina
On a lazy warm day one favorite spot of Janka and I is the J Street Marina. Located in the South bay this is a wonderful place to walk, talk, watch the sunset, have a picnic, or just relax with someone special. As usual for us this is also one of our favorite spots to take pictures.
There are two restaurants located at the marina if you would like to have lunch, dinner, or maybe catch a cocktail at happy hour. The first restaurant is South Bay Fish and Grill this restaurant offers free salsa classes on Saturday night beginning at 6:30 pm. Also this restaurant has a wonderful champagne/jazz Sunday brunch from 10 am – 2 pm. The second restaurant is the Galley at the Marina in addition to their wonderful happy hour they have great all you can eat specials Monday thru Thursday. *Please note restaurants are not listed in order of preference both of these restaurants have their individual charm and I really don’t have a favorite.
For me the magic of the J Street Marina is in it’s scenery and ambiance. The color of the trees, grass, water, and sea crafts combine to make a lovely backdrop for photos or conversation. Check it out sometime!
